Problem with browser slide

Dec 14, 2015 at 9:41 PM
Hello,
I'm using Ogama 5.0 with EyeTribe in a usability test of map services like Google Maps or HERE. After recording, when I open any module in Ogama, I can see results like scanpaths or attention maps, but there are no map from website in background (just grey background). There's a link to a print screen illustrating this error: http://www.fotosik.pl/zdjecie/d7bd64eaa7f2dec4
Does anybody know what can cause this problem?
Regards
Monika

I'm currently looking into a tutorial on how to install it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yL9t-bPGalE (though it's in Danish).

I haven't tested it out yet, but at one point they do mention that one needs codec to capture the background feed. They use K-Lite Mega Codec Pack.
Hope that is helpful :)

Thank you for your answer. I installed the newest version of Codec Pack, but it didn't help. I still have the same problem.

Hi Monica,
the websites you´re trying to track are too complicated for ogamas website screenshot engine. Either you make a fullsize screenshot of the website yourself and replace the images made by ogama during recording or you use the screen recorder slide (in stimuli design) instead of the website slide.
You can also try to reduce the html nesting if you have access to the sources.
Note: Ogamas website tracking feature is experimental and websites with dynamic content will not behave as expected.
