Record module crash and black screen usercam

Hello everybody,

When using the Ogama software 4.1 we get an error. This appears when we try to use the record module.

The usercam in the right bottom shows a black screen. This happens also when pressing on show on presentation screen. We are using the Mirametrix eyetracker.

But we can record with the eyetracker and in the replay module the eye movement en mouse movement will be shown. But the background is black.

Please help us with our problem!

The user video window at the bottom right of the main window is black as long as there is no user video recorded for the current selected subject.
To record a user video at least two cameras have to be connected to the system, one for the gaze, one for the user video.
You have to start the recording module and check the user camera button, there will be a preview in the bottom left corner of the recording module. There you have to check the "save video" checkbox, then a user video file will be written and found in the folder "Thumbs" of your project and replayed during replay in the replay module.
The button show on presentation screen is to show the tracking status of the eyetracker to the subject to help correct placing, it has nothing to do with the user video.
What I do not know is what you mean with background is black, I think you are using a screen recording and the screen recording fails. If there is no avi with the screenrecording in your Thumbs folder this is the reason for the black background.
On some systems the screen recorder dlls are not correctly registered, so please start the cmd with admin rights and register the files: OgamaCaptureX86.ax and GenericSampleSourceFilter.ax with the command regsvr32. You have to get the message "successfully registered".
