help

May 3, 2013 at 3:36 PM
Hello,

I have little to no experience with this kind of software. My aim is to create focus maps of a series of adverts. So far I have been unable to create a new document. Would somebody run through the neccessary steps to get ogama up and running from the perspective of someone who knows nothing about what an SQL server is. Just step by step what I have to download, what files need to go where etc?

I'm on a MacbookPro running Windows 7 on bootcamp.

thankyou

For example, having just download SQL Express 2008 RT, when trying to install I get this exception:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Perhaps an installation guide might be useful?
Jun 18, 2013 at 9:10 PM
Hi there, I agree that an installation guide would be useful, but think of the time that this writing takes ...
First of all on a clean system, install .net framework 4.
Then an express version of the sql 2008.
Update the system with Microsoft update.
This should solve you first error.
The second error indicates multiple instances of ogama being started (or not correctly terminated), restart and log in as administrator, it should work for your second error...

Hope this helps, Adrian
